Graduate of California State University Fresno with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy, Magna Cum Laude in 1995. Completed Master of Physical Therapy with Distinction in 1997 again at California State University Fresno. Licensed by the Physical Therapy Board of California in February of 1998. Specializing in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation with an emphasis on Maitland based philosophies of assessment, manual therapy, and exercise.
Monica was born and raised in New Mexico. She attended Luna Vocational Technical Institute in 1998, where she obtained an A.S. degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Her tenure as a PTA included treating patients with a wide variety of orthopedic injuries. Monica was promoted to the position of Operations Manager of a privately owned group of clinics in the Albuquerque New Mexico area. Looking to advance her skills further, she and her family moved to California where she attended Loma Linda University. She obtained her Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in 2009. While in school, she received the Fred B. Moore award for clinical excellence. Recently, she has become a Credentialed Clinical Instructor and is the newest member of the Rancho Physical Therapy team in Menifee. Monica specializes in lumbar and pelvic dysfunction.
