Meet Our Team

Julie Scira, PT, MPT, OCSClinic Director
Julie attended Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles, CA and received her BS in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Health Sciences in 1997 and her Masters in Physical Therapy in 1999. Since then, she has focused on patient care in the outpatient orthopedic setting. She enjoys combining her manual therapy skills with effective modalities, exercise, and patient education to maximize patient success with their rehab programs. She is board certified as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist and director of the Temecula Parkway office.
Jennifer Orr, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, CSCS
Jennifer graduated from Biola University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. She received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Loma Linda University in 2006, and is board certified as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist and Sports Clinical Specialist. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association Orthopaedic and Sports sections. Jennifer is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In her spare time, she trains for long-distance swimming, cycling, and running events and is a multiple Ironman finisher.
Emily Bartelt, PT, DPT, OCS
Emily graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology in 2009 and went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012 from the same university. Since that time, she has focused on treating patients in outpatient orthopedics with a “hands on” manual therapy approach. She has been working for Rancho Physical Therapy since 2014 and completed Rancho’s Orthopedic Clinical Residency Program in 2015 to further her education and clinical specialization. Emily became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist in June 2016 and is also an orthopedic section member and credentialed clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association.
Heather Francis, PT, DPT, OCS
Dr. Francis studied Kinesiology and German at Arizona State University where she competed in Division I Women’s Water Polo for 4 years. Upon completion of her Bachelors of Science from ASU she continued on with graduate studies at Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles, CA where she received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010. Heather continued focusing her professional studies in Orthopaedics with a year-long Orthopaedic Residency at Rancho Physical Therapy in 2011. Heather became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist in May 2012. Dr. Francis is a Credentialed Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association, Residency Mentor, and Clinical Instructor for Rancho Physical Orthopedic Residency Program. Dr. Francis is the Assistant Director at the 79S Rancho Physical Therapy location.
Curtis Cathers, PTA
Curtis attended San Diego Mesa College and graduated with honors while receiving his AS in Physical Therapist Assistant in 2015. Curtis enjoys the hands on approach utilized at Rancho Physical Therapy, with manual therapy and exercise his focus. Successful patient outcomes are his number one goal.
