Rancho Physical Therapy's clinical residency program has been credentialed by the APTA's Clinical Residency and Fellowship Credentialing Committee since 2003.
Our Residency program prepares residents for the Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist examination. 100% of our residents have gone on to pass the O.C.S. exam.
Residents Receive:
- Small group classroom and lab instruction
- Integrated and supervised independent study
- Ongoing, one-on-one clinical supervision while treating patients
- Training in evidence-based guidelines and advanced clinical practice
- Focused skill building on examination, treatment and clinical reasoning aspects of orthopaedic physical therapy patient care
- Preparation for Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist examination
Residency Facts:
- Residency Program begins each January and runs for 50 weeks
- Application deadline – October 1, 2010
- Residents are employed at Rancho on either a part or full time basis. Part time residents work a minimum of 24 hours per week.
