Meet Our Team

Jim Eddow, PT, DPT, OCSClinic Director
In 1993, Jim received his Bachelor of Science in Animal Physiology and Neurosciences, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of California, San Diego. He earned his Master of Physical Therapy, Summa Cum Laude in 2003 from Loma Linda University. Jim then continued his education and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Science in Pomona. In addition, he also has an Associate of Science degree from the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Mesa College in San Diego. Jim is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist, and specializes in Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy. He is currently adjunct/clinical faculty in the Doctoral Physical Therapy Program at Western University of Health Science in Pomona. Jim is currently the Director of Rancho Physical Therapy, Riverside.
Michael Cavazos, PT, DPT, OCS
Michael graduated from Union College with a bachelors degree in Biology in 2010. After moving to California, he attended Loma Linda University, where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014. Michael the Rancho Physical Therapy Orthopedic Residency Program in 2015 and received his Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist certification in 2016. His personal interests include golf, racquetball, hiking, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.
Christina Wise, P.T.A
Christina graduated in 2008 from the Physical Therapist Assistant program from Cerritos College with an associates of the arts degree. She has experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing as well as Neurological Rehabilitation. Christina joined the Rancho team in 2014.
Jay Franks, PTALA
In 2011, Jay received certifications in Personal Training and Fitness Nutrition from International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and continued to receive certifications in Boot Camp training and Marathon training. In 2016, Jay graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program from Loma Linda University where he received an Associates of Science Degree and a certification in Athletic Taping. Jay will be sitting for his National Board Exam in January 2017. His personal interests are spending time with his wife and children, hunting, art design, and outdoor activities.
